The SLCC is governed by a Board of Commissioners or Members. The work of the organisation is carried out by the SLCC staff under the direction of the Chief Executive. Find out more about the people behind the SLCC.Who we are
The Board of the SLCC is appointed by Scottish Ministers in consultation with the Lord President of the Court of Session.
Rosemary Agnew is the Interim Chief Executive and Head of Investigations. She is supported by all SLCC staff and in particular, an experienced management team comprising a Personal Assistant, the Head of Communications, the Human Resources Manager, the Investigations Manager and the Gateway Team Manager.

The Board of the SLCC is appointed by Scottish Ministers in consultation with the Lord President of the Court of Session.
Currently, the Board comprises a lay chair, 4 lay members and 4 lawyer members who were appointed by Scottish Ministers in consultation with the Lord President of the Court of Session.
We must have a minimum of 4 or maximum of 8 lay members and a minimum of 3 or maximum of 7 lawyer members.
Ministers may change the number and balance of the members, but there must always be a majority of lay people. Membership of the SLCC Board is for 5 years as chair and 4 years as a member.
